Atlantic Duty Free – South Africa: Featured Branding
When an identity crosses borders.
A few months ago, a client reached out to us from South Africa with a clear challenge: build the branding for a brand-new duty free concept—Atlantic Duty Free. A project that meant creating an identity from scratch, designed for a different cultural context, but with the same standards we always chase: clarity, personality, and brand coherence.
At MODO, we developed a solid visual identity—one that could work in an international environment, speak naturally with the physical space, and hold up over time. Every decision was strategic: this wasn’t about “just designing a logo,” but about building a brand with presence, instant readability, and real projection.

That moment—seeing an identity born at MODO take shape in another country—confirms something we deeply believe: creativity has no borders when it’s built on strategy, identity, and purpose.
This case represents how we like to work: supporting processes, trusting ideas, and building brands designed to grow, adapt, and live in the real world. Because when an identity is well built, it can travel far—without losing its meaning.
